What personal data we collect and why we collect it

We may collect personal identification information from Students in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Students enroll in Italiano con Amore, subscribe to a newsletter, and in connection with other activities, services, features, or resources we make available in our website.

We collect information about you during the signup process as well as some basic activities such as the dates you make purchases, login to the site, or cancel/pause/resume your subscriptions with us.

What we collect and store

When you subscribe with us, we’ll ask you to provide an email address. We’ll use this information for purposes, such as, to:

• Send you information about your account and subscriptions. This may include payment receipts, password reset emails, and payment reminders.
• Send you information about 1:1 and group lessons. This may include students calendar, lessons recordings and access links.
• Create your membership account

How we use collected information

Italiano con Amore may collect and use Students’ personal identification information for the following purposes:

•  To improve customer service
  Information you provide helps us respond to your customer service requests and support needs more efficiently.
•  To personalize user experience
  We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Students as a group use the services and resources provided.
•  To send periodic emails
  We may use Student email addresses to send Students information, updates, links for 1:1 and group lessons and exercises corrections. Student email addresses may also be used to respond to Student inquiries, questions, or other requests.

How long we retain your data

We store information about you for as long as your account exists.

Who on our team has access

Members of our team have access to the information you provide us. For example, site Owner/Administrators can access:

• — Order information such as your membership subscriptions, payment dates and amounts, and username / email address.

Any additional information added in your Member Profile can also be visible to the Administrator(s).

Sharing your personal information

We do not sell, trade, or rent Student personal identification information to others.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

Italiano con Amore has the discretion to update this Privacy Policy at any time. We encourage Students to frequently check this page for any changes. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Payments

We accept payments through Stripe. When processing payments, some of your data will be passed to Stripe, including information required to process or support the payment, such as the purchase total and billing information.

Your acceptance of these terms

By enrolling in Italiano con Amore, you signify your acceptance of its Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to this Privacy Policy, please do not enroll. By accessing Italiano con Amore’s Courses, you are agreeing to be bound by these Terms of Use, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in Italiano con Amore’s Courses are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.
